One of the first questions homeowners ask before starting a cabinet painting project is: "Will I be able to use my kitchen while my cabinets are being painted?"
At NEXTCOAT CABINETS PAINTING, the answer is yes. Our process is designed to keep your kitchen working while your cabinet doors and drawer fronts are professionally refinished at our shop.
At the beginning of the project, we remove the cabinet doors and drawer fronts and take them to our shop for professional preparation and spray finishing.
Your cabinet boxes stay in place, and your kitchen temporarily stays open without doors. During this time, you can keep using your kitchen and reach everything stored inside your cabinets. You can still use your:

Once removed, your cabinet doors and drawer fronts go to our shop. There, they go through the full preparation and finishing process: surface preparation, priming, professional spray application, and proper drying time.
Because this work happens away from your kitchen, you don't have to give up one of the most important rooms in your home while your doors are being refinished.
In most cases, no. Your dishes, glasses, pantry items, cookware, and everyday essentials can stay where they are and remain accessible while the doors are away.
Our team will let you know before the project begins if any specific items need to be moved or protected.
There is one important exception: installation day.
When your newly finished doors and drawer fronts return, our team needs clear access to the kitchen to carefully reinstall and adjust everything. On installation day, please don't use the kitchen while our team is working.
Keeping the area clear gives our installers the space they need to work safely, protect the newly finished surfaces, align the doors and drawer fronts, install hardware when needed, and complete the final adjustments.
Once the installation is complete and our team releases the area, your kitchen is yours again, now with beautifully transformed cabinets.
Living through a home improvement project doesn't have to mean losing your kitchen for days.
We remove the cabinet doors and drawer fronts, professionally finish them at our shop, and leave your kitchen working while that happens. Then, on installation day, we ask you to give us the kitchen for the day so we can put everything back together properly.
You keep using your kitchen while we work on the transformation. And when the doors return, you get to see the complete result.
